We would love to share your story with the donors who make this possible!
We love to learn about every family who stays with us and, if possible, share your story with those who make this happen. Thanks to our donors, we continue to be able to fulfill our mission to keep families together during challenging times far from home because we believe in making sure everyone’s basic needs are fulfilled for free. Without worrying about where to sleep, what to eat, and how to pay, you can focus solely on your child’s healthcare and getting back home as a family. Your stories are the reason donors continue to be so generous.

Meet Jazmine, 132 nights
“Kylie was born at 34 weeks, weighing just over four pounds, with a congenital intestinal obstruction, and was immediately airlifted to the hospital in Little Rock. She had surgery on her second day of life.
I wanted so desperately to be by her side, but I was still recovering from a c-section in Searcy. My head was spinning just thinking about what we would do when we got there. Then we were told we could apply for the Ronald McDonald House! We waited less than a day before being admitted into the House.
When I first arrived at the House I felt so lost and had so many emotions running through me. I was beyond thankful to have a private space to cry, a place to rest while my head, gather my thoughts, and for all of the people I met over the warm meals served every night. I’m so thankful for those who make the Ronald McDonald House possible. Staying there allowed me to be with Kylie every step of the way through the bad and good.
To the donors, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Because of you, I was able to be with my baby girl.”
Meet Lexi, 50 Nights
“You never expect to hear your daughter will be born with a rare tumor when you are 20 weeks pregnant. We had been so excited to be new parents but found ourselves confused and worried by this news. We began seeing specialist after specialist to weigh our options.
At 32 weeks, I began experiencing complications and was sent to UAMS for an emergency C-section. The day after our daughter was born, she had surgery to remove her cancerous tumor. She’s already been through so much, but she’s been an incredible fighter.
To add to the stress, we’re from Fort Smith and neither of us could work during this time. Ronald McDonald House gave us a place to stay close to our baby so she never had to be alone. I have no idea what we would’ve done for almost two months without having access to a comfortable bed, shower, and meals. All I wanted to do was be with my baby, and having this place to stay with a kind staff allowed me to focus on getting her well. She is the strongest little girl, with the biggest scar to prove it, and I’m so happy she’s doing so well now.”
