Ronald McDonald Family Room in St. Francis Medical Center (opening October 2025) is seeking a Strategic Partnerships Associate to steward and grow our donor base and volunteers who transform the experience for every family who will stay at the Family Room. We are seeking a candidate who is a seasoned fundraising professional who is passionate about connecting the community with our mission and the families we serve.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, established in 1981, the mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Arkansas & North Louisiana (RMHC AR & NLA) is to provide essential services that remove barriers, strengthen families, and promote healing when children need healthcare. We accomplish this through our three core programs: the Ronald McDonald House, Ronald McDonald Family Room, and Ronald McDonald Care Mobile. All services are free to families thanks to generous donors. While we are a part of the RMHC Global network, our nonprofit operates independently and 100% of all funds raised stay local.

POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Strategic Partnerships Associate is responsible for assisting the Mission Director in raising annual operating support for this program. This position will also be responsible for increasing awareness, recruiting volunteers, and seeking in-kind donors. The ideal candidate will be outgoing, enjoy engaging with individuals and groups, and confidently speak to audiences about our mission and purpose. They will have primary oversight of signature events, advocate for the organization’s mission, and encourage support from the community. They will identify new stakeholders, coordinate, manage, and support event-focused volunteers. They will capture creative content for social media, while assisting with other efforts to further visibility in the region. They are accountable to the Chief Executive Officer for stewardship of the mission statement.

 

ESSENTIAL

  • Represent the organization at speaking opportunities and community events throughout Northeast Louisiana to increase awareness of the organization’s programs.
  • Recruit and host volunteers and groups.
  • Ensure volunteers have a meaningful experience, including execution of a gratitude plan.
  • Execute annual signature event and third-party events.
  • Steward existing donors; identify and recruit new donors.
  • Capture social media content for the Communications Director.
  • Ensure consistent design of promotional materials to support regional program, event and volunteer needs, adhering to branding standards and templates.
  • Occasionally travel to other program sites in Arkansas for events, education, and/or presentations.
  • Perform other related duties and projects as assigned.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent written and public speaking skills
  • Effective leadership and people skills
  • Enjoy working independently and in collaboration with a team
  • Flexibility to adjust to changing work conditions and priorities
  • Highly organized with effective time management skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Canva
  • Experience in social media and content creation is a plus

This position includes a competitive salary and benefits package, including health, dental, vision, life, short and long-term disability, 403(b), 16 days of PTO, plus 10 additional holidays.

Northwest Arkansas Guest Services Manager

While serving families with the highest level of customer service and integrity, these positions are responsible for general operational duties, light housekeeping, inventory of supplies, and ensuring all policies, procedures, and guidelines of the Ronald McDonald House and Family Room® are adhered to by all guests. The Guest Services Manager at each location will be responsible for keeping up with daily records and logs of all guests and reporting any problems to the Program Manager or hospital security if necessary. This position will perform additional administrative tasks as assigned by the Program Manager.

This non-exempt, full-time, hourly position offers 32 hours per pay period. Shifts are determined by the Program Manager, with day, night, and weekend shifts required. The RMH is staffed 24 hours a day with overnight shifts available, 365 days per year, 7 days a week. The RMFR is staffed 8am-9pm, 365 days per year, 7 days a week.
