Meals from the Heart
What are Meals from the Heart?
The Meals from the Heart program allows individuals and small groups to provide freshly prepared meals to families at the Ronald McDonald House. Volunteers cook or deliver a meal allowing families to eat together without the stress of cooking or the expense of dining out.
This small act by volunteers removes the worry and burden of meal prep, grocery shopping, and the cost of feeding their family far from home, allowing them to focus on their child in the hospital.
Currently, volunteers prepare dinner each night for 70 people. These meals can be made in our kitchen or catered/delivered to the House.
Gather your group (of up to 10), pick a day, and fill out the form linked below. We provide dinner nightly, but if breakfast or lunch is more your speed, we’re happy to have you! Someone will be in touch to help you plan, answer all your questions, and make any accommodations you need.
If you want to talk to someone before signing up, email sue@rmhcar-nla.org or call (501) 374-1956
