Meals from the Heart
What are Meals from the Heart?
Our Meals from the❤️ program invites individuals and small groups to provide freshly prepared, nightly meals to families in the Ronald McDonald House. Volunteers prepare or deliver dinners, enabling families to eat together without the stress of cooking or the expense of dining out.
When families have a hospitalized child, the last thing they need to worry about is how they will feed their family. Thanks to our generous Meals from the❤️ volunteers, time spent on grocery shopping, meal prep, and the financial burden allows them to focus on their child.
We ask volunteers to prepare dinner for 70 people. These meals can be made in our fully-equipped kitchen or catered/delivered to the House.
HOW IT WORKS:
- Choose a date from the calendar, complete the form, and gather your group.
- While dinner is the top priority, if breakfast or lunch is more your style, we’re happy to have you!
- Once you submit your date, we will contact you to answer your questions and make any necessary accommodations.
If you want to speak with someone before signing up, email sue@rmhcar-nla.org or call (501) 374-1956 and ask to speak to someone about Meals from the❤️
Thank you!
