Become A Volunteer
There are many ways to get involved with RMHC Arkansas & North Louisiana. In 2023, we had over 1,700 volunteers donate 9,100 hours of their time to do everything from work events to organizing donations to ensure families can continue to stay together and have everything they need while their child undergoes treatment in a local hospital.
Meals from the Heart
Meals from the Heart offers individuals and small groups (up to 10 people at a time) an opportunity to provide freshly prepared meals to families at the Ronald McDonald House in Little Rock and Ronald McDonald House Shreveport-Bossier (opening May 2025). Through this program, volunteers provide meals for families allowing them to eat together without the stress of cooking or the expense of dining out.
Collect Pop Tabs
Pop tabs can be collected by anyone, but school administrators, teachers, and students have long been the lifeblood of this effort. Collecting pop tabs is a wonderful way to teach kids about recycling and philanthropy and it helps families at Ronald McDonald House. If you’re collecting, be sure to keep pop tabs in a container with a large opening so they can be removed for recycling and then drop off at Ronald McDonald House Arkansas or Ronald McDonald House Shreveport-Bossier (opening May 2025). You can always view our wish lists at the link or shop from our Amazon lists to have items delivered directly to the House. Be sure to watch social media for wish list Wednesday for our most urgent needs. What items can you help provide for our families?
Red Show Crew
The mission of the Red Shoe Crew is to engage, empower, and inspire individuals to build awareness and expand the circle of friends for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Arkansas & North Louisiana
Well-Being Salon
If you are a licensed hair stylist, we hope you will volunteer to help families in the Well-Being Salon at Ronald McDonald House Arkansas. Because of stylists like you, men, women, and children staying in the House can get a fresh cut or style.
Host a Fundraiser
We rely on community support from third-party fundraisers to complete our mission. A group or individual can host an event or sponsor an activity where RMHCAR-NLA is the beneficiary.
Vehicle Donations
Your old vehicle can help a family stay close to their sick child. Donate a vehicle and the funds raised will support families with sick children at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Arkansas & North Louisiana.
