Ronald McDonald House Shreveport-Bossier will serve families with a critically ill child in any Shreveport hospital. By keeping families together during an already difficult time, the House removes barriers to life-saving care for children and eases financial burdens. All services at the Ronald McDonald House are provided to families free of charge.
At Ronald McDonald House we believe that “home” is more than four walls and a roof. That’s why every Ronald McDonald House provides a safe haven for families of seriously ill, hospitalized children. Here they find a private room where they can retreat from the stress of the hospital, as well as meals, snacks, activities, play spaces for siblings, and comforts of home. Families are embraced in the warmth and hospitality of our compassionate staff and volunteers. Families connect with each other, creating a community of support that uniquely understands the impact of a child’s critical diagnosis.
